Have I done any good in the world today? I should ask myself that question every day. I really liked the lesson today in RS it was about being the hands of Christ. Giving service and loving our fellow man kind. It is difficult sometimes to always feel charitable towards others and want to serve but the key is doing it anyways. It is so cliché but if we asked ourselves what Jesus would do and then actually did it then this world would be perfect!
Here is one of my favorite quotes that Emma gave me last week and I would like to share it with you all.
People are often unreasonable and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you.
Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough.
Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God.
It never was between you and them anyway.
~Mother Theresa
I am grateful for the smell filling my house (cherry cobbler).
